Capex Ink Color System
While there are many complex methods for referencing ink colors in use around the world, Capex has a very simple approach. Capex offers a vast array of colored inks and the listing below is only a general reference to our most popular colors. When ordering please verify according to exact series reference.
For simplicity, each of Capex's different ink types has a unique 2 digit prefix to denote the ink series reference, for example 94 = UV Cure Paste Ink (see reference below for full series information). The next 2-3 digits in the item # relate to the color of the ink, for example 00 = Black, or 148 = Cyan (see color listing below).
The color references within each of the different ink series depend strictly on the series core formulations. Therefore, specific color references may not equate exactly between different series inks. Please make sure to always confirm the color reference when testing a new ink series. Ultra Violet cured ink colors do equate exactly throughout the UV series ranges.
Capex inks are supplied under our own color references, but we can provide our match for almost any other color referencing system, please specify system name and ink reference number when ordering.
